Smoked Banana

The whole time Ive been doing this project I had the idea that I wanted to photograph a gross banana.  The only hard thing about that was even though it gets old they still smell amazing.  Yes I know call me strange but sometimes I leave a banana out just because it smells good. On the other hand ones banana does hit a point where it doesn't smell or look good anymore and that's where I come in. In this shoot I had tried to shoot on a lighter background.  I'm really not too sure if its for me yet or how it works with the series.

Apples to Apples

The eyes are bigger than the stomach.  That comes into play with this set of photos.  I tend to take more than I know I need and it kills me that I waste so much. But once again the food that I had wasted had turned into something beautiful.  The way that the apple pieces had shrunken and warped was totally cool. I had forgotten about them on the plate on my desk and recently remembered they were there after about a week and this was the outcome.
